Her music is autobiographical Americana folk rock, reminiscent of Lucy Kaplansky, Norah Jones, and Patty. Charlotte started writing songs in her early twenties while in the Peace Corp in West Africa. Upon returning to New York, she teamed up with long time producercollaborator Dan Rowe and released her debut album I Get Stupid in 2003
