Similar in scope to side one of Atlantis Evidence, 1967, Cymbals Evidence, 1973, New Steps Horo, 1978 and Other Voices, Other Blues Horo, 1978 this stripped-down studio session is a unique example of Ra's wide-ranging artistry. A track like track 3, Love in Outer Space is done as a straight song, but those harmonic touches only Sun Ra could add make it enchanting. A track like track 2, on the other hand, is only based off a single bass line: A2, D2,C2,F2, played over and over as eighths to give you an idea, and what the arkestra does with it, how it increases tension or not, and their self-intera

Vinyl release please--this needs to be transmitted back out into the universe.
Especially odd that A&M didn't do a vinyl version when it was new, considering that they did release its companion album Blue Delight on vinyl despite it being 65 minutes long.
