I agree. This productions are nothing special. Imagine I would gone thru this release on beatport, I would maybe not even paid attention to it after long music shopping. There is this mad hipster hype around limited stuff on vinyl, and the man behind this label, Leo Pol, looks like he is one of them ;-) Otherwise he would just press more of this, but obviously he wants this to be hyped. I pass!

Nice, but really not worth all the fuss: These are standard deephouse productions with an average vinyl mastering. Best track "This must be illegal" i played in a club on Function One systems and it even sounded not really good. But maybe mastering is okay but its not a good pressing, i dont know ...

maybe funktion one (with a k by the way) isn't the best choice for house tracks from vinyl; kirsch audio turns out to be more warm and not so "crisp clear" and "shaking" as the funktion systems...

This record is not special at all if u dig a bit deeper you gonna find loads of jams like this. The only special thing about this one is that it got more clicks and yt fame than the others.And btw everyone knew that the prices gonna explode, that's the reason i bought one..

This is basically the reason for the "unknown artist" thing, as well as for the wlbl... everything is not only related to this strictly-limited-hype-game (I guess) but also due to copyrights of the tracks sampled...I'm even (tbh) astonished those pressings are still available on discogs although his rigid policy bout edits, bootleg and stuff.I hardly believe those samples are credited, btw thanks to god I've been able to cop this. We can only hope for a rp, but realistically this is improbable.

I also preordered a copy on Deejay. Probably the distributor could not deliver the items to Deejay. So then I used the in-stock mail at Juno to get a copy. Had to be quick though, it was sold out in a minute or so.

Remember when Workshop 08 and 12 were repressed? Reading the comments here is like stepping into a time machine.I pre-ordered my copy from deejay and a comment here nailed it: unfortunately the order was canceled out of the blue. This morning I got an email from Juno but as others mentioned, it was sold out in about 10 minutes from when I received the email. Checked about 10 other online shops right after that, all sold out. Poof.The music is nice, but I think I'll pass and skip the drama. Trying to resell copies on release day for 60EUR screams desperate though and personally find it to be quite disrespectful.I suppose one way to help with this is to create a public incentive for labels to repress through crowdfunding. A want counter on Discogs is a nice metric but I can see demand for a tool or service that streamlines the funding process.

Already exists. https://qrates.comthere was a service called Beatdelete which repressed all old tru thoughts albums which reach a certain demand but it doesnt seem to be functioning anymore. Probably because it asked for payment upfront and if it didnt reach the repress limit, it would send your money back but after months of waiting.

I found this gem in my favourite record shop. After digging a while (about 1hour and half), i decided to bought it. You won't believe what the seller told me : "Sorry mate, this is the last copy and someone payed it on the internet like 1 hour ago....". Kinda frustrating. I did not find this elsewhere on the internet, out of stock each time. However, the owner of my record shop assure me a repress will arrive soon !
