This is not a bad album.

It also is not a great album. I don't know if Zero Cult has any true diehard "fans" per se, but I think I like ZC better than the average ZC listener. This album has something of an element of cheese on it which some people will absolutely hate, but I think those who despise cheese already know to stay away from ZC. Myself, I view cheese like anything else - it can be done well or done poorly.

ZC releases tend to disappoint me because there are some songs of theirs that I think are awesome, but they're always sandwiched around a lot of filler.

My first impression of this album was that it was generic and unmemorable. I gave it another shot, and, like most of ZC's work, I like the overall sound but the song craftsmanship cannot keep up.

This album is good for what it is, pleasant downtempo chill that for the most part blends into the background. I don't like the vocals on Tracks 2 and especially 10. I was a little deceived into thinking this album is better than it is because the four best tracks on the album all come in a row - 5, 6, 7, and 8. Really 7 and 8 jumped out at me, but they still lack the "wow" factor of, say, the two remixes of the ZC track P-Ray.

On a scale of 1-10, I'd give this album a 6.5. If you're new to Zero Cult, I'd suggest trying out The Art of Harmony or Clouds Garden, which are by far my favorite two ZC albums.
